How does it work?
We all know that plants use sunlight as energy to grow. And that sunlight is made up of the complete spectrum including all colours of the rainbow.
Plants need a full spectrum of light to be at its healthiest, however there are some colours in the spectrum that they uses more than others at different stages. In particular, plants use blue light to promote growth at the germination stage and red light to promote flowering at the fruiting stage.
The LED lights used in the Home Grown products produce the full colour spectrum and have been specifically engineered to stimulate plant growth so your plants can thrive indoors!
Another feature of the Home Grown range is the automatic on/off timer. Because, just like us, plants need a rest! So once you set up your Home Grown garden and switch it on the LED grow light will turn on for 16 hours and automatically turn off for 8 hours.
